Let's get into it:
This is a new restaurant in town! Cocula is right off of 401/Fayetteville Road in Garner, in the building formerly housed by Tripps Restaurant, if you are familiar with the area.
The location was super easy to find and get to - right off of the main road, with lots of parking. We went around 9pm on a Friday night, and noticed the dining room was relatively empty, except for a group of young adults seated nearby that looked to be celebrating a birthday. Other than that, the dining room was quiet, so great for conversation.
The service was exceptional. I was impressed with how quickly our food came after placing our order. The servers were polite and friendly, and were attentive to our needs.
Our food arrived hot, and everything was correct. Serving sizes were pretty standard.
The food quality was outstanding. The salsa was great - not to spicy, but nice flavor. The tortillas were nice and hot, and tasted super fresh. The chicken on the ACP was very well seasoned. There could have been more queso on the ACP, but I admit to an unhealthy obsession to queso, and feel like more is always better. The plate of choripollo fajitas was huge, and Brian gave them a raving review.
I definitely recommend checking out this place. As it is relatively new, I feel like service and quality will only continue to improve. I know that we will definitely be back. :)
